A recently retired clinical social worker/psychotherapist of over forty years, over thirty in a non-denominational Christian counseling center, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated student of Holy Scripture. In my previous life as a Protestant, I led women’s Bible studies, have been a featured speaker at several women’s retreats, and have given talks at various Christian groups.
In 2016, after an eighteen year faith journey of wrestling in prayer and extensive reading, especially of the early Church fathers, I left my Protestant roots and entered the Catholic Church, where I have found my spiritual home. No one is more surprised than I am about this homecoming!
I have a particular fondness for the Old Testament, as well as the Jewish roots of the Catholic Christian faith. As St. Augustine said, “The New Testament lies hidden in the Old and the Old Testament is unveiled in the New.”
Married for 45 years, mother of two adult children and grandmother to two, I am passionate about helping others find their place in the Heart of God and live their lives as His beloved children in His loving family.
